The Deputy Assistant Director General for Mediterranean Countries of the Secretary of State for Trade, Manuel Mora Pedrinaci, and the President of Imathia Construcción and Consultrans, Julián García Valverde, will be speaking online this evening at 7 p.m. at Casa Mediterráneo, as part of the Economy and the Mediterranean series, to discuss Spanish-Egyptian economic relations.
Tomorrow, Tuesday, at 11 a.m., a guided tour of Casa Mediterráneo’s headquarters can be enjoyed, subject to prior registration by emailing eventos@casa-mediterraneo.es. The following day, Wednesday, at the same time, the book El laberinto y la Diosa Triple, by Ignacio del Olmo, will be presented as part of the series Writers and the Mediterranean. On Thursday 17, also at 7 p.m. and online, there will be a meeting with the Director General for Sexual Diversity and LGTBI Rights of the Ministry of Equality, Boti García Rodrigo (in the photo), in which the situation of LGTBI women in the Mediterranean will be discussed. From the end of the dictatorship to the current third decade of the 21st century, Mediterranean countries have evolved in different directions with regard to the visibility and recognition of LGTBI rights, with different milestones achieved and aspirations still to be achieved. Finally, on Friday 18 June at 13.30 online, Raquel López will talk about the Myths of the Mediterranean. Greek myths are the origin of many of today’s tales. They are still relevant and interesting. Love, betrayal, revenge and hatred; heroes, gods and mortals. The story of Ariadne, Theseus and the Minotaur contains all these ingredients.
