Vox has registered an initiative in Congress with which it wants the Navy to collaborate with the naval authorities of Morocco and Mauritania in order to capture those boats that try to illegally access Spain, since the transfer of immigrants to the Peninsula “is not a solution, but a stopgap”.
Santiago Abascal’s supporters are presenting this non-legislative proposal, to which Europa Press had access, because they consider that the actions that the Government is taking to deal with the massive arrival of immigrants in the last two years in Spain “are manifestly insufficient”.
And, as an example of this statement, he indicates that, according to data from the Ministry of the Interior, the arrival of immigrants in the Canary Islands grew by 133.9% in the first four months of this year 2021 compared to the same period last year, reaching 4,441.
