Germany and the Netherlands consider the Canary Islands to be a safe destination for travel. This was highlighted by the authorities of these two countries, which is good news for Spain, as the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Arancha González Laya, highlighted on her Twitter account.
Yesterday, the Canary Islands were included on the green list of safe destinations on the website of the German Foreign Ministry. The German authorities remind German citizens that travellers coming from risk areas must present a negative coronavirus test on arrival in the islands.
As of today, the Netherlands allows travel to the Canary and Balearic Islands without the need for visitors to the islands to be tested and to comply with a quarantine period on their return from their holidays.
