On the occasion of International Museum Day, next Tuesday 28 May at 12 noon, the Real Fábrica de Tapices y el Instituto Seda España invite you to the presentation of the Seda Creativa Museum Network “Intelligent, Connected and Accessible”, which will take place in its Teniers Hall.
The museum is no longer understood as a static entity, preserving and conserving cultural content. It is not just an exhibition storehouse of information. It has developed as a centre for socio-cultural and economic reactivation. It is an entity that stimulates knowledge and creates opportunities and innovations. The Museum is a concept that goes beyond its physical limits, through the new technologies that it uses as a tool for creating emotions that involves the visitor and makes him or her a participant in his or her own culture (or not). Museums are moving towards an exhibition methodology that is active/interactive with the public. A public that reacts positively to the multisensory stimuli offered to them, and increasingly demands exciting experiences in all their activities. For health reasons due to Covid-19, places are limited, so please confirm your attendance by sending an email to icumlido@realfabricadetapices.com.
