Author: Carlos Fidalgo.
Tomorrow Friday at 18:00, the Centro Sefarad-Israel presents the book Stuka, by Carlos Fidalgo. The author will be accompanied by the writer Nacho Ares for the presentation of the book. The Stuka was a killing machine that was trained during the Spanish Civil War and spread panic in the early years of the Second World War, but what pulsates in Stuka is sexual identity and the violence that is exercised against women in times of war. The novel is set in Berlin, during the 1936 Olympic Games, and in Castellón and Alto Maestrazgo, bombed by the Condor Legion in the spring of 1938, and during the siege by the Red Army in 1945. The presentation can be followed on Centro Sefarad-Israel’s YouTube channel, at this link.
