Webinar ‘The Challenges of the Biden Administration in the Middle East’

This evening at 6 p.m., Centro Sefarad-Israel presents a conversation in which Dina Siegel Vann, director of The Arthur and Rochelle Belfer Institute for Latino and Latin American Affairs of the American Jewish Committee (AJC) will offer an analysis of the challenges facing the Biden Administration in the Middle East.

The outcome of the elections in Israel, the protests in Egypt and the response by the Armed Forces and the tense situation in Syria offer the recently arrived Biden Administration a complex scenario in the Middle East in which the United States will have to take important positions in the short and medium term, either from the President’s office itself or through the Secretary of State, Antony Blinken. The event will be presented by the Spanish Ambassador to the United States, Santiago Cabanas. The conference can be followed on Centro Sefarad-Israel’s YouTube channel.
