The Ambassador of Israel, Rodica Radian-Gordon, surprised yesterday with a very original virtual reception of the 73rd Independence Day of the State of Israel, in which she brought together the corresponding diplomatic greetings, along with the disclosure of the bounties of her country, its gastronomy and its culture.
“On this 73rd anniversary of our independence, the ambassador highlighted in a video, I proudly carry a young and successful country that has overcome many challenges and continues to prove that you have to dream of the impossible to achieve it. Happy birthday, Israel.
This was followed by a video entitled Israel Then & Now, which showed the changes and the urban and cosmopolitan evolution of the country over the past 73 years. This was followed by a video of Michal Levi, an enthusiast of Israeli culture and gastronomy, giving a masterclass in everything that can go into a pita bread.
This was followed by a description of the country’s technological advancement and its overall sustainable innovation and its goal of making life more comfortable for the elderly through technology.
The virtual reception ended with a performance by the Soltz trio and a concert by the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Lahav Shani.
