As part of the events to commemorate the Day of the Book, the Instituto Cultural Rumano is taking part on 21 and 22 April in the series of events organised by the Complutense University of Madrid on this occasion.
On Wednesday 21, at 12.30 p.m., the lecture Three Poetics of Romanian Neo-Modernism: Ana Blandiana, Ileana Mălăncioiu (1940), Angela Marinescu (1941) and Ana Blandiana (1942), by Corina Oproae, organised by the Institute together with the Romanian Lectorate of the UCM, will take place in the Assembly Hall of Building D and online. Also, on Thursday 22 April, at 10 a.m. in the Paraninfo and online and as part of the series of meetings and round tables, Poéticas Mediterráneas 2021 and organised together with the UCM Poéticas de la Modernidad research group, Claudio Rodríguez Fer, Nesrine Khoury and Corina Oproae will take part in an event in which Corina Oproae will present: Exile, “mysterious germination of the grain beneath the earth” and, at the end of the event, she will read a selection of poems from her own published volumes of poetry. Casa del Mediterráneo, the Department of Romance, French, Italian and Translation Studies and the Department of Hispanic Literatures and Bibliography are collaborating in this event.
