This afternoon at 4 p.m., Casa América presents the first session of the series The New Stage in the USA from an Economic and Commercial Perspective, which will deal with the analysis of the general framework that the USA is initiating in the Biden era (in a pandemic context and in the face of the challenges of recovery).
The session will include a dialogue between Manuel Muñiz (in the photo), Secretary of State for Global Spain, and José Viñals, President of Standard Chartered Bank, which will be moderated by Joaquín de la Herrán, the State’s commercial technician. The recent victory of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris in the United States opens a new stage in the world political, strategic and economic scenario. Casa de América wants to pay special attention to the new variables that are in play, to the challenges and possible changes in a particularly difficult situation due to the pandemic. Undoubtedly, bilateral relations between Spain and the United States occupy a very relevant place and deserve a detailed analysis. In this sense, the current situation in the United States will be analysed in two cycles that will run until July of this year and which aim to approach the North American country from an economic and socio-political perspective. The event can be followed on Twitter or YouTube.
