As part of the series of debates on the occasion of the Portuguese Presidency of the Council of the European Union, the Portuguese Embassy invites to the virtual conference Time to act for a resilient Europe, with the European Commissioner for Reforms and Cohesion, Elisa Ferreira, which will take place this morning at 12 noon, in a conversation with the journalist Elena Ochoa. The event will be moderated by Nuria Sans, journalist and expert on European affairs.
Resilience is the buzzword in Europe, but what exactly do we mean when we talk about a resilient economic recovery? What financial and political instruments will be used to achieve it? How important is cohesion and convergence for this objective? Can it be achieved without deepening European cooperation in the health sector? How will it be reflected in industrial policies? And can Portugal and Spain play a leading role in building this resilience in each of the countries and at the European level? The event can be accessed by clicking on this link.
