The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, David Zalkaliani, paid a visit to Spain where he was received by his Spanish colleague, Arancha González-Laya, and the Minister of the Interior, Fernando Grande-Marlaska.
On his Twitter account, Zalkaliani said that he had spoken with the Spanish Minister of Foreign Affairs about expanding bilateral ties at a time of challenges and that they had discussed opportunities to enhance cooperation in various areas and the possibility of joint actions in the fight against COVID19.
Regarding his meeting with Grande-Marlaska, he pointed out that he focused on the “high level” of police cooperation and the “successful cooperation” between the Ministries of the Interior of the two countries.
