The Instituto de Cuestiones Internacionales y Política Exterior (INCIPE), in collaboration with the Portuguese Embassy, is organising a digital meeting with the Portuguese Ambassador, João Mira-Gomes (pictured), on 22 January at 12 noon, in which the priorities of the Portuguese Presidency of the Council of the European Union during this six-month period will be discussed.
Manuel Alabart, Secretary General of the INCIPE and Vicente Garrido, Director General of the INCIPE, will participate in the meeting. Under the slogan Time to act: for a fair, green and digital recovery, Portugal begins its fourth Presidency of the Council of the European Union, whose five priorities are aligned with the objectives of the EU’s Strategic Agenda: strengthening Europe’s resilience, building confidence in the European social model, promoting sustainable recovery, accelerating a fair and inclusive digital transition and reaffirming the EU’s role in the world, ensuring that it is based on openness and multilateralism. The debate will be broadcast live on YouTube via the following link. You can register using the registration form or by sending an email to aranzazu.alvarez@incipe.org.
