Next Wednesday, April 8 at 11 o’clock, the Fundación Alternativas (Don Ramón de la Cruz street, 39) presents the colloquium entitled Mercosur and free trade. Benefits for Europe and Latin America.
The EU-Mercosur trade agreement represents a strategic opportunity to strengthen economic ties, boost sustainable growth and expand opportunities for businesses and citizens on both sides of the Atlantic. In a convulsed international environment, this treaty can help to build new markets, foster innovation, and strengthen more resilient value chains. This day offers a space for dialogue and reflection to analyze its benefits, challenges and future prospects, bringing together institutional representatives with detailed and updated knowledge about the agreement.
Julián Conthe, Director-General of Trade Policy and Economic Security at the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Enterprise; Marisol de Francisco Bartolomé, Research Manager for Latin America at Banco de Santander, and Raúl Mínguez, director of the Studies Service of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce will take part in the debate. The event will be moderated by Diego López Garrido, executive vice president of Fundación Alternativas.
The debate can be accessed in person by registering at this link. It is also possible to attend online on the Foundation’s YouTube channel.
