The Centro Cultural Coreano, in collaboration with KOFICE (Foundation of Korea for International Cultural Exchange) presents K-Live, a cycle of concerts to be held on 25 and 26 July at La Sala del Movistar Arena, in Madrid.
This event is part of the official schedule of Korea Season 2025, an international initiative promoted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Korea and the Korean Foundation for International Cultural Exchange (KOFICE), which aims to promote Korea’s cultural and artistic diversity in key international countries. This initiative is being held in Spain this year, with the aim of strengthening cultural ties between the two nations.
K-Live will offer the Spanish public a unique and diverse musical experience, with three outstanding figures from the contemporary Korean scene. The program combines tradition, innovation and international projection, ranging from shamanic singing to K-pop and alternative pop.
Next Friday, July 25 will perform Chudahye Chagis, a group that fuses traditional Korean shamanic singing (muga) with psychedelic funk, and W24 (pictured), a K-Pop band known for its melodic pop-rock style and its involvement in the composition and production of their songs.
On Saturday, July 26, Chudahye Chagis will perform again and will be accompanied by Sunwoojunga, renowned singer-songwriter and producer considered a key figure in the Korean indie and pop scene.
The concerts will begin at 20:30 (opening of doors at 20:00) and will last approximately 90 minutes. Admission is free, with prior booking required through the website of La Sala del Movistar Arena, available from 11 July 2025.
