Superman, DC Studios’ first feature film to land on the big screen, hits theaters around the world with Warner Bros. Pictures.
With his signature style, director James Gunn approaches the original superhero in the newly imagined DC universe with a unique blend of epic action, humor and emotion, introducing a Superman guided by compassion and an unwavering trust in humanity’s goodness.
DC Studios managers Peter Safran and Gunn produce the film, which Gunn directs from his own script, based on DC characters such as Superman created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster.
The film stars David Corenswet as Superman/Clark Kent, Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane and Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor.
For this film, Gunn has regular collaborators such as cinematographer Henry Braham, production designer Beth Mickle, costume designer Judianna Makovsky and composer John Murphy, along with composer David Fleming and editors William Hoy, Jason Ballantine and Craig Alpert.
