The Spain-India Council Foundation (SICF) is holding a new edition of the Indian Leaders Program in Madrid, Salamanca, and Valladolid from June 23 to 27. This year, the program focuses on “Eco-Startups: Green Innovation and Entrepreneurship.”

With the Indian Leaders Program, the Spain-India Council Foundation “promotes knowledge between the two countries and creates networks of contacts between high-level professionals,” reported the institution, a private, non-profit organization formed by major Spanish companies and institutions operating in India and promoted and supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. “To this end, it is inviting a select group of senior Indian professionals and experts to Spain,” it added.

For one week, the SICF organizes meetings, gatherings, and technical visits focused on a sector of common interest. The objective is to offer an updated overview of Spain, its resources, potential, and capacity to generate joint opportunities.

In this edition, the Indian participants invited to Spain by the Spain-India Council Foundation are:

Ankit Agarwal, founder and CEO of Phool.co, a social enterprise pioneering flowercycling® technologies to reduce pollution in the Ganges River.

Dr. Ruchi Saxena, founder of the consulting firm Caerobotics and a pioneer in the use of drones for public health and disaster response.

Utkarsh Singh, founder and CEO of DronaMaps, a cutting-edge technology company specializing in computer vision and autonomous systems.

Devanshee Deepak, Global Director of Products at DronaMaps, a leading advanced technology company in geospatial analysis, drone-based 3D reconstruction, and AI-powered feature detection.

Shivanshu Dwivedi, founder and CEO of Predulive Labs, an AI-based drone technology company supported by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) of the Government of India.

Anuja Dhawan, co-founder of Dübverse, an AI-focused platform that is breaking down language barriers in the content economy.

The agenda for this edition of the Indian Leaders Program includes visits and meetings, among others, at the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, Airbus, La Nave Madrid, Acciona, Ecoalf, Salamanca Tech, Casa de la India, IdeVa, the Agency for Innovation and Economic Development of the City of Valladolid, ICEX Invest in Spain, and CaixaBank.

In addition, a private reception is planned at the Embassy of India in Spain and a meeting with the members of the board of trustees of the Spain-India Council Foundation to learn about the structure and operation of this entity.
