The Sala Clamores de Madrid (calle de Alburquerque, 14) presents next Sunday at 21 hours the Polish singer Monika Borzym, who will present the last album of her group, Canciones de cuna para adultos.
This last work combines the two passions of the singer: music and psychosexology. The award-winning vocalist, who is distinguished by her unusually sensual and velvety voice, will sing with the participation of outstanding virtuosos such as Krzysztof Dys (piano), Maciej Matysiak (double bass) and Marcin Ułanowski (drums), in a concert that is part of the program ELLAS CREAN under the umbrella of the Polish presidency of the Council of the European Union.
Monika Borzym has released seven albums. She comes from a family of musicians and graduated from the elementary conservatory with an honor degree in piano. Then he started singing studies in Warsaw, but the turning point in his career took place when he received a scholarship to the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami in 2008, and later to the Music Academy in Los Angeles. Two great experiences: traveling abroad and studying at John Hersey High School confirmed that singing jazz was her way. There he participated in numerous vocal festivals, winning prizes and stage experience. Upon returning to Poland, he began studying psychosexology, which together with music became his great passion and vital challenge.
Monika experiments with various musical currents. In this sense, it is interesting Radio hedonistic, an album in which he reinterprets the great hits of the band Radiohead arranged for jazz trio, three French horns, bass clarinet and viola da gamba.
