In the framework of the cycle In Scena a Palazzo, thanks to the collaboration with CIDIM- Comitato Nazionale Italiano Musica and within the project Suono Italiano, next Thursday 13 March at 8 pm, the Instituto Italiano de Cultura in Madrid presents a fantastic concert entitled Folksongs, tribute to Luciano Berio that will have as protagonists the soprano Gemma Bertagnolli and the pianist Alessandro Stella.
Gemma Bertagnolli (Bolzano, 1967) began her career after winning the As.Li.Co competition in Milan and the Francisco Viñas competition in Barcelona, where she received a special prize for the best performance by Mozart. He has quickly succeeded in the main theatres and festivals in Italy and abroad and has collaborated with important conductors. Bertagnolli is considered as one of the leading performers and masters of her generation in the baroque repertoire.
Alessandro Stella (Rome, 1979) is an Italian pianist and producer. Original artist and refined discography, has been presented in the main Italian, European and Latin American cities. He has been invited to major international festivals and has performed in some of the main theatres and concert halls in Italy and around the world.
