Tomorrow, Tuesday at 6 pm in its Salón Bolívar, Casa América hosts a debate on the tariff and trade policy of Donald Trump since his recent inauguration in January 2025, entitled Tariffs, trade and conflict in the new era Trump, in which its impact on global trade and especially on the economies of Latin America, Spain and the European Union will be analysed.
After a welcome speech by Leon de la Torre Krais, director general of the Casa de América, we will hear from former minister Miguel Sebastián, renowned economist and professor, and José Carlos Díez, expert in international economics and professor, moderated by Laura Cristóbal Gracia, director of economics at the EFE agency.
