The Czech Embassy announces that renowned Czech jewellery designer Tereza Čermáková will participate in the prestigious 9th Exhibition of Contemporary Jewellery and Goldsmithery, which will take place from today until 23 March 2025 within the framework of the Madrid Design Festival.
The exhibition will showcase the pinnacle of artistic innovation in jewelry making, where Čermáková will exhibit her unique fusion of traditional craftsmanship and contemporary design, evoking themes of femininity, emotion and curiosity.
Tereza Čermáková mastered the art of jewelry under the tutelage of the Italian master jeweler Claudio Franchi, among others. It stands out for its peculiar artistic approach, its sense of detail, its perfection and its ability to express emotions through the morphology of matter. His work is a testament to the meticulous skill and creative talent that has earned him international recognition.
Organized by the Association of Contemporary Jewellery and Goldsmithery Designers (AdOC), the 9th Exhibition of Jewellery and Goldsmithery is a key event at the Madrid Design Festival that presents exceptional works by world-renowned jewelry designers. Čermáková will present samples from several of her collections, in which she explores the morphology of matter with a new and provocative approach, celebrating female strength, emotion and curiosity.
The Czech designer will attend the opening of this exhibition this afternoon and will be available for interviews and meetings until 7 February 2025.
