Until 10 January 2025, the Instituto Cultural de México will be exhibiting at its headquarters (Carrera de San Jerónimo, 46) the exhibition Enraizadas. Mujeres y México.
This exhibition is an artistic work that belongs to the Biennial of women in visual arts 2024, where it seeks to promote dialogue about Mexican identity and female presence in art, highlighting how artists express themselves through fiber and other textile techniques in relation to their roots and the cultural context of Mexico. The project, curated by International Curatorship (María Ortega and Yosi Anaya), establishes a link between the internal landscape of Sara Corenstein and the external landscape of Yosi Anaya, addressing issues of identity, culture and the relationship of artists with Mexico through various textile techniques. This exhibition undoubtedly strengthens the cultural exchange between Mexico and Spain.
