More than 40 digital leaders will analyze the challenges of the technology sector at the Cervantes Institute

The Diplomat The Cervantes Institute will bring together more than forty technology leaders from major corporations and public administrations, including Naturgy, Repsol, Iberdrola, the Community of Madrid, and the Social Security Administration, at its Madrid headquarters this Tuesday, March 17, to analyze the main challenges and trends that will shape the technological future over the next five years. Under the title "LARSEN Digital Leaders Meeting," this initiative seeks to connect executives in the ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) sector to promote innovation through a collaborative network that integrates key figures from both private corporations and public institutions, as reported by the Cervantes Institute in a press release. Carmen Noguero, Secretary General of the Cervantes Institute, will offer the institutional welcome and present the Institute's mission and main lines of action to the attendees. During the event, María José Candel, Director of Digital Transformation and Communication, will also speak in the session "Digital Transformation in Service of the Cervantes Institute's Mission," where she will present the pillars of the Digital Transformation Plan, funded by the European Union's Next Generation Funds. This 2022-2026 Digital Transformation Plan aims to boost the Cervantes Institute's visibility by promoting the implementation of new strategic applications that strengthen the institution's digital presence and its capacity to offer high-quality services in both physical and virtual environments. These applications form an innovative digital ecosystem, designed to optimize internal processes, improve user interaction, and ensure that all digital services effectively contribute to fulfilling the institutional mission. The digital future in two years Following this panel, participants will discuss the question "Vision for the Future: What Will My Company Be Like in Two Years?", a space for collective reflection on the challenges and opportunities that will define the technological ecosystem in the medium term. Executives will discuss the rapid global advancement of AI, agentive models (AI for autonomous decision-making), and the development of a new cognitive economy. They will also address the transformation of organizations in technological areas and the role that CIOs (Chief Information Officers) must play. LARSEN Digital Leaders is an independent association founded by Mona Biegstraaten in 2019 with the aim of sharing knowledge and experiences in technology. In addition to meetings, this organization provides annual reports to its 90 member companies—including Mapfre, Acerinox, Penguin Random House, and CaixaBank—which compile and analyze trends in the technology market.
