Fundación Alternativas invites to participate in the meeting Spain and India: new areas of business cooperation, with the collaboration of The Diplomat in Spain, tomorrow Tuesday from 10 hours. A dialogue with Spanish and Indian companies focused on a strategic sector such as the technological and digital challenge.

Relations between Spain and India are in a tense moment, both in the fields of political dialogue and business cooperation. This is taking place in a new geopolitical context that is driving a strengthened EU-India bond, as exemplified by the two blocs’ Free Trade Agreement or the Spanish prime minister’s recent visit to Delhi.
In 2026, the Dual Year Spain-India 2026 will be held, in which bilateral exchanges and triangulation with regions such as Latin America will be promoted, in key sectors such as technology, connectivity, health, water or renewable energies. India is increasingly becoming a strategic partner for our country and our businesses.
Diego López Garrido, executive vice president of the Fundación Alternativas, will give a word of welcome and the event will be opened by Diego Martínez Belio, secretary of state for foreign and global affairs, with the special interventions of the Ambassador of India Mr. Jayant Khobragade and Jaime Montalvo, Director of International of the Chamber of Commerce of Spain.
