Next Thursday, January 29 at 8 pm, the Instituto Francés de Madrid presents the first Madrid concert of the electro-orchestral artist Douran, within the second edition of the piano cycle Résonance, a bridge between orchestral music and electronic music, an emotion to the skin, an invitation to sleep and inner journey.
This piano cycle will take place between January and May 2026, bringing together six artists from the French contemporary music scene who, through their proposals, offer a musical experience as original as complementary.
Rich in lyrical flights and fed by cinematic influences, his pieces transport us to a suspended time, where pianos, violins and flutes are mixed with synthesizers to open the doors of an epic universe at once delicate, sensitive and powerful. Passionate about sound design as well as the work of melody, harmony and rhythm, this self-taught composer intervenes at every stage of the composition of his music in order to create a personal sound lexicon and the most appropriate emotion for each of his pieces.
On stage, surrounded by synthesizers, electronic keyboards and controllers, Douran brings his creations to life in real time. Using the Expressive E Osmose allows you to explore a wide range of nuances and dynamics, offering an organic, expressive and deeply immersive direct.
After three first EPs with more than 7 million hits, collaborations with Louis Vuitton, Renault, Ford or Fila, and original music composition for television and cinema, Douran released his last EP, Wind Runner, on 8 February 2024. In 2025, he has worked on other ambitious projects: a new EP recorded at the prestigious Ferber studio in Paris in the company of a string quartet, a Bulgarian choir and its synthesizers, and a new live show.
With his next EP, As The Dust, which will be released on February 13, 2026, Douran further enriches his universe by incorporating more affirmed rhythmic cadences, reinforcing the movement and narrative dimension of his music. Reservations can be made at this link.
