<strong>The Diplomat</strong> <h4><strong>King Charles III and Queen Camilla of the United Kingdom have conveyed to King Felipe VI of Spain their “deepest posible sympathy” for the train accident this past Sunday in Adamuz, Córdoba, which caused the death of at least forty people.</strong></h4> “My wife and I have been profoundly shocked and saddened to learn of the apalling train accident in Southern Spain and of the many lives so tragically lost in such a disaster,” the British monarch wrote in a message released by the UK Embassy in Madrid. “We offer our deepest posible sympathy to all those who have suffered the heartbreaking loss of their loved ones and our special thoughts remain with those who have been terribly injured in this dreadful accident,” he continued. “We also wish to pay a particular tribute to the emergency services who responded so swiftly and courageously atr the scene of the crash. We have the greatest admiration for their selfless service and unwavering commitment to helping others in their time of need”, he added. “We hold the people of Spain in our heartfelt prayers and stand with you in deep sorrow at this painfully difficult time,” he concluded. The message from King Carlos III coincided with King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia's visit to Adamuz, where they met with victims to convey "all of Spain's affection."
