The comedy Un matrimonio sin filtros (A marriage without filters), about the end of love in the couple, about the addiction to the mobile phone, and about the correlation between both issues (if there is one), has been premiered at the Teatro Maravillas de Madrid (calle Manuela Malasaña, 6).
A marriage without filters is the new comedy starring Marta Hazas and Javier Veiga, written and directed by Veiga himself, and produced by Medio Limón, Okapi Producciones, GrupoSmedia and Verteatro.
The play tells how Marga and Jaime are going to separate after 15 years of marriage. Between tears and reproaches they are comforted knowing that, having no children or pets and not even a car in common, they can leave without more, slamming the door with a classic: “I don’t want anything from you anymore”. But there is a small detail that they did not fall into. That door must be slammed with a door. And that door belongs to a house. And that house… is the house of two!
Marga and Jaime are willing to rebuild their lives separately, but they both feel that THE HOUSE belongs to them. Neither of them wants to leave their former home. And this disagreement is not likely to be resolved by a friendly separation.
They begin to bring out the dirty clothes and to throw each other in face the failure of their relationship. They both come to a conclusion: whoever is most to blame for their divorce should leave the house. And now the real war will begin. Both of them are going to pull the blanket and take out all the garbage they had stored under the carpet. Here there is no more modesty, nor does it matter what they will say… An open couple in channel. With all the embarrassments to the air. A marriage at sight from a huge indiscreet window. The spectators of the theatre will be able to attend live all these miseries that couples usually show only from inside. Tickets can be purchased at this link.
