Opera and zarzuela gala at the Club Monteverdi in Madrid

Next Friday, January 9 at 19.30, the Club Monteverdi of Madrid (calle Almagro, 36) offers an opera and zarzuela Gala, with the most beautiful musical pieces by Handel, Mozart, Puccini… and the best zarzuelas ever.

 

The soprano Rosa Gomáriz and the tenor Miguel Borrallo, together with the pianist Madalit Lamazares, will perform unforgettable songs such as “Ombra mai fu” by Xerxes and “Lascia ch’io pianga” by Rinaldo, G.F.Haendel; “La ci dan la mano” by Don Giovanni de W.A.Mozart; “Una furtiva lagrima” and  “Una parola O Adina” by L’elisir d amore by G.Donizetti; “O mio babbino caro” by Gianni Schicchi by G.Puccini; “Mazurca de los paraguas” by El año pasado por agua by F.Chueca and J.Valverde; “Bella enamorada” by El último romántico by R.Soutullo and J.Vert; “Canción de Paloma” de El Barberillo de Lavapiés by F.A.Barbieri; “Cállate corazón” by Luisa Fernanda de F.Moreno Torroba; “Granada” by A.Lara; “De España vengo” by P.Luna’s El niño judío; “Torero quiero ser” by M.Penella.
