El Espacio Ronda de Madrid (Ronda de Segovia, 50) exhibits until next Wednesday 7 January the exhibition Alma, by the artist Elena Acero.

According to the painter, “her works reflect the energy and vitality of nature. Painting with vivid colors, textures and natural pigments allows me to connect emotions and feelings in every stroke. I seek to capture the essence of organic and convey vitality. Painting is my language for celebrating life and its nuances. It is a process in which sensations, light and matter merge”.

For example the work that illustrates this article entitled sunrise captures the instant when the light awakens and everything begins to transform.  the warm tones that melt into soft and vibrant colors to express the promise of a new beginning.

An emotional landscape that speaks of rebirth, energy and hope.  Each layer of color evokes that first breath of the day, when the world is still silent but everything beats with possibility in the way.

Elena Acero continues by defining her art with these words: “I paint what I feel and not what I see. When I stand in front of a canvas there is no strategy, no previous sketches, there is a pure intuition. I enter a very intimate, almost meditative state, where I let the color show me the way and guide me through the canvas. Through my work I do not seek to represent something literal, I seek that who looks at it feel something. That is where lies the magic of art. In the end I think what defines me is that I paint from intuition, authenticity and heart. So am I. So was born Alma“.
