His work was internationally recognized with the awarding of the Jean-Claude Bajeux Prize in 2014 for his research on the role of culture in building democracy in Haiti.

Louidor also has extensive experience in the humanitarian field, having served as research coordinator for the Jesuit Refugee Service for Latin America and the Caribbean (JRSLAC) and as a consultant for UNICEF and UNDP. During his work in these roles, he focused on issues such as child trafficking on the Haitian-Dominican border and the vulnerability of Haitian migrants to HIV/AIDS as they travel to the Dominican Republic.

In December 2024, he was appointed Haiti’s ambassador to the Dominican Republic. On November 12, he presented the copies of his credentials to the Director General of Protocol, Adrián Martín Couce, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, according to the Embassy.
