Instituto Cervantes presents the exhibition ‘Woven Stories’

The Instituto Cultural de México (Carrera de San Jerónimo, 46) presents the Program of the Day of the Dead 2025 which they have baptized as La Muerte Viva: Mexico in Spain and that includes a series of events spread over several days and at various venues scattered in different parts of the Spanish capital. It began last Monday, 27 October and will end on 8 November. Also, for the first time, proposes a Route of Altars with two collaborating institutions where there will also be presented altars of the dead: Casa de América and the Ibero-American General Secretariat (SEGIB).

Casa de América

Ofrenda poblana La Abuela de Todos. A tribute to the Carmencitas.

Project in collaboration with the Government of the state of Puebla and The Americas Research Network (ARENET).

Plaza de Cibeles, s/n, Madrid.

Until 8 November.

 

Ibero-American General Secretariat (SEGIB)

Offering dedicated to indigenous women.

Paseo de Recoletos, 8, Madrid.

Until 7 November.

 

Parallel activities:
