The Embassy of Ecuador presents at the Centro Cultural Ecuatoriano de Madrid (calle General Oráa, 64) the exhibition Cotidiano, by the renowned Ecuadorian artist Martín Cano, who is exhibiting for the first time in Spain and invites us to look at everyday life with renewed eyes.

Between the city and mystery, the noise of the city and the silence of the symbol, emerges the work of this Ecuadorian artist living in Miami, a pictorial journey with more than 35 works in oil, acrylic and mixed techniques that explore the neo surrealism, New symbolism and the everyday as an artistic subject.

The exhibition, which will be open until 31 October, presents a plastic universe where the small is magnified: urban cones that transform into symbols, daily scenes that mutate into enigmas and colors that touch the border between the real and the dreamlike.

Martín Cano, Guayaquileño with more than 23 years of career, has individually and collectively exhibited his work in Colombia, Chile, Argentina, Mexico, Miami, New York, Austria, Madrid and Ecuador his talent and has been worthy of the medal to the Doctor Cultural Dr. Vicente Rocafuerte, granted by the National Assembly of Ecuador.
