Espacio Iroko de Madrid (calle Francisco Ricci, 7) presents tonight from 9 pm a tribute to the unforgettable Spanish version of the rock opera Jesus Christ Superstar, pioneer and famous of musicals in Spain.
Respecting the original narrative, the most iconic songs of the work will be replayed by piano and voice, in a novel format as well as intimate and endearing, with surprising audiovisual effects and the participation of the public as people, who will interact directly with the show.
The cast of artists consists of singers with extensive experience on stage: Pedro Cortés (Jesus Christ), Juan Carlos Cortés (Judas), Antonio Cuevas (Pilatos), the stellar signing of Lydia (singer of Presuntos Implicados) as Mary Magdalene and other guest artists with surprise scenes. The instrumentation will be provided by the pianist Alejandro Tercero, who in turn will play Caifás. There will also be some House versions from Jesus Christ Superstar XXI century and produced by the very same Pedro Cortés. Tickets can be purchased at this link.
