Tomorrow, Friday, in the Sala de Columnas of the Círculo de Bellas Artes de Madrid (calle Alcalá, 42), starting at 8 o’clock, the Festival hatsu no oto will be held, the beginning of a connection, a musical bridge and a relationship in the form of a festival between Tokyo and Madrid; Japan and Spain building a link through their artists, overcoming cultural and idiomatic barriers and exploring the musical relationship between them, establishing a connection that promotes an exchange in a dynamic, fluid and normalized way.

The festival will feature the duo of audiovisual electro-pop tamanaramen, the musical artist Cwondo and the visual artist and VJ avys, on the Japanese side. On the Spanish side, participants will be the Hispanic-Japanese artist iuky, musician and DJ 8kitoo and VJ uran_000.

One of the rooms associated with the space that hosts the concerts will be dedicated to a small pop-up market of Japanese and local brands and producers, completing this objective of moving a concert hall from Tokyo to the center of Madrid.

hatsu no oto is co-organized by the Círculo de Bellas Artes and Fundación Japón, Madrid, with the participation of Lecluf and the collaboration of Yamaha, The Social Hub and Los Invernaderos. Yuki López and Marco Costa, two young music curators, have been responsible for devising hatsu no oto and selecting the Japanese and Spanish artists.

This event is to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the opening of the center of Fundación Japón in Madrid together with the Círculo de Bellas Artes, first collaborator that hosted a project of performing arts. Tickets for sale on the website of the Círculo de Bellas Artes.
