Ambassador Maurizio Gelli presented his credentials in France

On 1 September, the President of the French Republic, Emmanuel Macron, received the Ambassador of Nicaragua, Maurizio Carlos Gelli, at the Élysée Palace, for the presentation of his credentials, Accredit him as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Nicaragua to the French Republic.

 

Ambassador Gelli held a brief bilateral meeting with President Macron, in which he thanked the “warm welcome” received. He also stressed the importance of strengthening and improving bilateral relations and unity between the two countries. Likewise, it reaffirmed Nicaragua’s commitment to promote cooperation between the two nations, always respecting each country’s sovereignty, independence and self-determination.
