On the occasion of the Romanian Language Day, the Instituto Rumano de Cultura in Madrid (Plaza del Cordón 1, bottom right) opens this afternoon at 7 pm the sculpture exhibition The Return of Dialogue by Mihai Camara, a meeting between sculpture and contemporary poetry.

The presentation will include a poetic recital of the voices of Dragoș Popa and Inma J. Ferrero. The exhibition will be on display until October 12.

The fifteen works that are presented are part of the collections Diverbia, Viziuni and Chains of the renowned artist, and stand out without doubt by the mastery of the suggestive and ingenious combination of various materials, from the expressiveness of wood and stone to the different textures of modelled metals, to create original pieces that stimulate the imagination of viewers.

This exhibition shows the dialogue between the materials used by the artist and the fact that many of the works have been previously exhibited in other galleries or belong to private collectors.

Mihai Camara (born in Romania in 1961) graduated from the Higher Degree of «Arts applied to sculpture» at the School of Art of Toledo, with teachers who were well-known artists. He has had personal exhibitions in several cities: A Coruña, Embassy of Romania in Madrid, Círculo de Arte de Toledo, Escuela de Arte de Toledo, Ciudad Real, Quintanar de la Orden and several in the City Hall of Olías del Rey. He has also participated in numerous collective exhibitions with the members of the Association of Friends of the School of Art of Toledo, the Association of Painters of Olías del Rey and the Romanian Watercolourists of Madrid. Mihai Camára is known for his talent and dedication, for the emotion he conveys through his art and for his contribution to the promotion of Romanian culture in Spain.
