Until 31 December, the Espacio Cultural Serrería Belga (calle Alameda, 15) presents the exhibition Madrid, Musa de las Letras, which explores the role of Madrid in literature.
It is true that many cities have literary reminiscences, but in few they are as palpable as in the Barrio de las Letras in Madrid. Just take a walk through its streets to find vestiges of Miguel de Cervantes or Lope de Vega, but also writers of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries such as Benito Pérez Galdós, Emilia Pardo Bazán, Federico García Lorca or Valle-Inclán. Therefore, this space is a show of gratitude and a tribute that the city offers to all the people of letters who have made it their muse.
