In collaboration with the Wallonia-Brussels delegation in Spain and DJ set, the Instituto Francés de Madrid continues its summer cinema cycle with the screening of the film La novia del poeta, by Yolanda Moreau, next Thursday at 10pm. Must register on this link.

In this poetic and melancholic comedy, we meet Mireille, a lonely and eccentric woman who inherits an old house full of history. Gradually, he will gather around him a gallery of equally singular characters, among artists, dreamers and marginalized. With delicacy and humor, the film celebrates improbable encounters, second beginnings and the beauty of human bonds.

The poet’s bride is an ode to imagination, art and love in all its forms, with that endearing and absurd touch that characterizes Yolande Moreau. The screening will be in original version with subtitles in Spanish, and will be preceded by a DJ set from 19h to 22h, to start the evening with music outdoors.
