Premiere of ‘Capitol vs. Capitol’, to remember or forget?

The Spanish documentary directed by Javier Horcajada entitled Capitol vs. Capitol is released today in the Spanish cinema.

The assault on the Capitol documented by its own protagonists. A choreography of chaos, explosions, prayers and selfies, seasoned with populist propaganda, inflammable ideologies and anger in the net. Since the propaganda 70 years before the Internet assault, we ask ourselves: were they just extremists… or the future of the country?

Trump’s victory revives the memory of the Assault on the Capitol, an event that marked a before and after for the global far right. This documentary explores the parallels between that attack and the events in Spain, analyzing how the actions of his presidency could influence our country in the coming years.
