From today and until next Saturday, June 7, the Instituto Francés, the Cines Embajadores and the Círculo de Bellas Artes will be the venues for the 4th edition of the French film exhibition France is on screen.

The objective of this festival is to give visibility to contemporary French audiovisual creation in all its diversity, programming films of different genres, dealing with various themes of society, and aimed at all audiences. The annual exhibition provides an opportunity to discover the richness and potential of one of the most important films on the world scene.

The particularity of this event is that it will be attended, once again, by filmmakers and interpreters with whom viewers will have the opportunity to talk after the screenings in animated colloquia. This year, we will have the presence of filmmakers and performers such as Anne-Sophie Bailly, director of My Everything, Agathe Riedinger, as well as Malou Khebizi  (director and lead actress of Diamond in Rough, a film selected in the official competition of the Cannes Festival 2024), the only film in the official competition of Cannes 2025 directed by a debutant in the making of feature films.

Seven films will be screened in preview before their distribution in Spain, which will introduce the public to some of the most anticipated premieres of French cinema.
