The Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed foreign embassies accredited in Spain this Monday about the progress of the power outage.
According to The Diplomat, through communications with several embassies, the Ministry contacted the various delegations in Madrid to inform them of the power outage, which affected the entire Iberian Peninsula, and to inform them of its consequences for infrastructure and transportation.
Diplomatic sources have confirmed to The Diplomat that the Ministry contacted the vast majority of embassies accredited in Spain with the aim of conveying “a message of reassurance.”
