Once again, the Embassy of Japan announces new calls for scholarships from the Government of Japan – Monbukagakusho.

These are the MEXT Scholarships from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan for researchers (Kenkyuu) and for students of Specialized Training (Senshuu) for Spaniards wishing to continue their academic career in universities or specialized training centres in Japan.

The first, for Spanish Graduates 2026 (Kenkyu), are aimed at Spanish researchers who want to develop a research project in the areas of study they wish, in Japanese universities, with the possibility of accessing master’s and/or doctoral studies. More information is available at this link.

On the other hand, the 2026 (Senshu) Scholarship Program for Specialized Training Students is aimed at Spanish students who wish to study in specialized training centers in Japan in different areas of Japanese language. More information is available at this link.
