Casa Árabe, in collaboration with the King Salman Global Arabic Language Academy (KSGAAL) of Saudi Arabia, is organizing a month-long event on the Arabic language in Spain until 25 April.
These activities include poetry, calligraphy and storytelling contests in March, to end with a week of activities and training in April. The initiative is part of the Arabic Language Months organized by the academy in different parts of the world with the aim of promoting and celebrating the richness and diversity of the Arabic language through a series of activities and trainings for teachers and students of Arabic, Including visits and meetings with universities and training centres to establish lines of collaboration and joint projects.
The programme in Spain, centred at the headquarters of Casa Árabe in Madrid, will include competitions for poetry recitation, calligraphy and storytelling in Arabic, as well as an opening day with the presentation of prizes on 21 April, and free training courses for trainers and students in the last week of April. The conference and training will take place at the facilities of Casa Árabe and will have qualified trainers from the academy.
