Last Thursday, the Embassy of Honduras organized a tribute to the outstanding Honduran singer-songwriter Guillermo Anderson, who was played by the group Bravomonte.

The event was attended by the ambassador of the Central American country, Marlon Brevé, and the daughter of the unforgettable singer-songwriter, Emilia Anderson Godoy, along with members of the Honduran community in Madrid who enjoyed a concert full of the most famous songs of Guillermo Anderson, like En mi país, El encarguito, Pobre marinero or Cortaron el árbol.

In the words of the Honduran ambassador, “Guillermo Anderson, with his musical talent, contributed to the development of our country and gave us the opportunity to feel a more robust and first-world identity. Served the community in various organizations for the benefit of children, human rights and the environment”.

“Guillermo is the sea of a deep identity with armor of cusuco or armadillo, continued Marlon Brevé, it is the verse incense made so that “strength you have woman” raise the empire of equality and love. Guillermo Anderson is the whisper of the world’s biosphere. Its presence is a song of colors that describes worries, fishermen’s labors, nostalgia, loves… Finally, Guillermo makes us feel with his voice the harmony of living in brotherhood and with respect for mother nature.”

Then, the group Bravomonte, with the Honduran José Inés Guerrero at the head, presented their tribute concert “Bravo Guillermo”, which was even accompanied in a song by the singer’s daughter and, also, by the palms to follow the rhythm and melodies of the famous songs of the honored musician, Guillermo Anderson.

Bravomonte performed an excellent musical tribute to the songs and message of Guillermo Anderson.
