Within the cycle Breakfast with words 2025, the Instituto Cervantes organizes next Monday, February 24 at 10 o’clock the meeting Effort and Courage, between the Paralympic medalist Gema Hassen-Bey (in the photo) and the writer Fernando Olmeda.
At this meeting, participants will explore the power of human drive from two unique perspectives: physical challenge and written word. From the top of her personal and professional achievements, the sportsman and writer will explore the drivers to overcome obstacles and grasp life stories from different perspectives. The talk is moderated by writer and journalist Juan Cruz.
Both protagonists will dismantle the false dichotomies between success and vulnerability, work and creativity. Effort and encouragement is an invitation to reflect on what really drives our lives, and how, with every step or word, we can build something extraordinary.
In-person and online activity. Booking through the Eventbrite platform is recommended.
