Madrid (12-14 February) and Barcelona (15-16 February) are hosting the Seret 2025 International Israeli Film Festival.
Seret (film in Hebrew), the International Israeli Film Festival, is the largest in the world and includes the best of that country’s cinematography. It began its career in London 13 years ago, and equally seduces audiences in England, Germany, the Netherlands, Chile and Argentina, and this year makes its debut in Madrid and its second edition in Barcelona.
The films programmed in the festival are: Running on sand, Bliss and Matchmaker (pictured). All will be screened in Hebrew, with Spanish subtitles.
The opening screening in Madrid will be at MK2 Palacio de Hielo at 7.30 pm and in Barcelona at Leonardo Royal Hotel (Alt Forns, 40) at 7.45 pm.
On 16 February, the renowned Israeli actor Sasson Gabai will be present at the Barcelona screening for a question and answer session. The programme and timetables of the Festival can be found at this link.
