Until next 23 February, the Real Jardín Botánico-CSIC of Madrid presents the exhibition Nature and Science in the Landscape of Light.

On 25 July 2021, the Landscape of Light was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. A few days before this anniversary, the Real Jardín Botánico-CSIC hosts the 3rd edition of the Expo de la Luz, a cultural proposal that, in collaboration with RetiroExperience®, puts emphasis on the environmental aspect of the Landscape of Light. The event also highlights the important scientific and promotional work carried out by the Real Jardín Botánico-CSIC and its commitment to the preservation of the World Heritage of Madrid.

Under the motto Nature and Science in the Landscape of Light, Expo de la Luz 2024 includes a photographic exhibition by Antonello Dellanotte at the Cavanilles Chair of the Villanueva Pavilion, curated by art historian and cultural manager Irene Calvo, as well as a series of conferences and an interesting programme of parallel activities. Tickets can be purchased at this link.
