Tribute to Ramón y Cajal with the Orquesta Sinfónica de Madrid

This afternoon at 19.30, the Sala Sinfónica of the Auditorio Nacional de Música in Madrid is dressed to honor the Spanish scientist and 1906 Nobel Prize for Medicine Santiago Ramón y Cajal.

 

The Orquesta Sinfónica de Madrid, under the direction of maestro Gustavo Gimeno, will perform the Overture of Prince Igor, by Alexander Borodin; the Divertimento from “The Fairy’s Kiss”, by Igor Stravinsky, and the Symphony No 5 Op. 64 in E minor, by Piotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. Tickets can be purchased at this link.
