Literature and sport. Sport as a literary spectacle is the title of the meeting that will take place, as part of the cycle Letras móviles, tomorrow Friday at 7 pm at the Instituto Cervantes in Madrid between the director of the Institute, Luis García Montero, and the former footballer, Former coach, writer and sports commentator Jorge Valdano, about when the sport epic becomes a universal narrative.

Both will explore how sport and literature have the ability to build stories that transcend time and borders.

Valdano, with his verb and mastery to analyze football as a cultural phenomenon, will reveal how the dynamics of the game contain metaphors about life, struggle and collective victory. Letras móviles is an initiative of Thinking Heads which has the support of the Ministry of Culture and the Instituto Cervantes. Free entry. Reserve a seat at this link. The meeting can be followed online via YouTube at this link.
