Next Friday, January 24, the musical group The Clams will fill the Sala Villanos de Madrid (calle de Bernardino Obregón, 18) with the magic of soul and blues.
A unique night with a powerful live, where The Clams will offer, apart from their good mood and great feeling with the audience, surprises of new songs and tributes to great figures such as Aretha Franklin and Ray Charles.
More than 10 years ago, the Madrid-based band The Clams decided to combine power and passion to become, after an extensive tour of theatres, festivals and concert halls, the feminine face of Spanish soul.
The seven women of The Clams –Marina (vocals), Henar (grue), Laura (keyboards), Silvia (bass), Maylin (drums), Katia (sax) and Almudena (trumpet)- merge different currents of soul and rhythm & blues from a spectacular line-up: the flawless rhythmic strength of his drums melts with the depth of the bass groove that, through the constant sonic exploration of the guitar and the harmonic passion of his keyboardist, join a section of powerful and funny winds that get to gravitate around a powerful and breaking voice.
