The Madrid-based harpsichordist Yago Mahúgo will present his latest CD at the Instituto Francés of Madrid on Tuesday, January 21, at 8 pm.

Mahúgo, internationally recognized as one of the best performers in French music, is recording the complete work for keyboard by François Couperin, a key figure of the French baroque.

During the concert, Mahúgo will perform highlights from the First Book for harpsichord, with selections from Orders 1 to 5, included in his recent record trilogy. The concert will be preceded by a presentation by Benjamín G. Rosado, a prominent Spanish classical music critic known for his keen analytical skills, deep knowledge of classical and contemporary repertoire and attractive literary style. Registration is required at this link.
